Paolo and Pao-Papa go for a father and son trip to Tokyo in Japan to experience the beautiful culture, cuisine and scenery. They enjoy a mix of modern and traditional landmarks including neon-lit skyscrapers and historic temples. They savor their favorite sushi rolls made with a mix of rice, seafood and vegetables at local restaurants.
A local family invites Paolo and Pao-Papa to a traditional tea ceremony at home. The host family makes them wear the traditional Kimono dress. Paolo and Pao-Papa learn that the tea ceremony is marked by the four principles of Harmony (wa), Respect (kei), Purity (sei), and Tranquility (jaku). Every movement, every step and every moment is precisely defined. The host family starts serving green tea to everyone. A child accidentally drops and breaks their tea cup. The child apologizes to the host mother who smiles back. The host mother explains that accidents happen and it is important for us to be truthful, take responsibility for our actions and make amends where possible.
