Paolo and Pao-Papa are flying to Mumbai, India from San Francisco, United States of America to see their grandparents. The flight crew is doing a commendable job keeping the passengers comfortable in the the long journey of over 16 hours. Paolo watches from the flight the iconic Marine Drive in Mumbai that embraces the Arabian Sea and sparkles at night as the Queen’s Necklace.
The flight captain announces meal service before arrival. Pao-Papa likes to enjoy a cup of spiced tea. The flight purser brings Pao-Papa the tea with white sugar and milk on the side. Pao-Papa requests for raw brown sugar instead. The flight pantry only has white sugar though. The purser graciously offers her personal bag of raw brown sugar to Pao-Papa who also learns from the flight captain later that it was the last personal sugar bag the purser had for the flight. Pao-Papa is grateful for this gesture of generosity.
Paolo learns the importance of customer service and service before self which brings joy and satisfaction to everyone involved. When did you serve something to a family member or friend to make them happy?
