Paola, Paolo and Pao-Mama are at home in San Francisco, United States. Pao-Papa was traveling and flew over the Pacific Ocean to Japan for work. Paolo and Paola recently started to sleep by themselves on their bunk bed. Paolo climbs the ladder to sleep on the upper level while Paola sleeps on the lower level.
One night Pao-Mama reads a bedtime story about bravery to Paolo and Paola. Both Paolo and Paola want to sleep with Pao-Mama that night as Pao-Papa is traveling. The bed that Pao-Mama sleeps on can only accommodate one more person. Paolo and Paola start arguing about who should sleep with Pao-Mama. Paolo notices that Paola is feeling a little scared of sleeping in the bunk bed due to the story which had a wolf in it. Paolo selflessly tells Paola she should sleep with Pao-Mama. Paolo also courageously agrees to sleep alone on the bunk bed. Paola feels better and sleeps well that night.
Paola learns from that experience how one can be kind to their loved ones by sacrificing their own desires. When were you kind to a family member?
